Lots of signs of spring to catch my eye.... spring flowers, fresh antlers, birds in breeding colours etc
For a number of reasons, opportunities for viewing spring flowers were limited but the yellow coltsfoot blossoms were the first to be seen in several locations including Limerick Forest and Mer Bleue. hepatica in Lanark, trout lilies at Mud Lake, bloodroot and marsh marigold at Fletcher Garden and leatherleaf at Mer Bleue Boardwalk





While the fallow deer at Parc Omega seemed not to have lost last year's antlers yet, red deer, elk and the caribou were busy growing their new ones.
