Bit of a more varied month what with waterfalls, trains and nice fall weather turning overnight to winter and then gradually back to slightly warmer temps.
The varied waterfalls in the Finger Lakes District of New York State were certainly eye-catching, especially the many cataracts in the mile and half long Watkins Glen Gorge.

The Syracuse Zoo is quite small; I guess I had not seen a live seahorse before so it really caught my eye.
There were some eye-catching antlers at Parc Omega.

The sights and sounds at Mud Lake certainly changed with the cold weather's arrival. Although a blue heron managed to get some fishing in before the cold hit.
Birds are still about in other locations too

In amongst the destruction caused by the May windstorm, and the cleanup, a few frozen red maple leaves caught my eye as we walked the trail at Pine Grove.
Capping off the month was an eye-catching Canadian Pacific Holiday Train. The 24th annual edition with some 168 stops in Canada and the US.
One train car's decorations reflected in two cars.
