Once again beavers caught my eye, this time at Petrie. I had four beaver virtually at my feet. I had my long lens on videoing them, I tried very slowly to change cameras, but they sensed the movement close by and took off, so best pictures are in the video on the webpage.
The sunrise that morning was a beauty!
But some ravens gave the beavers a run for their money.....
A family of ravens have been filling the neighbourhood with noise, and our bird bath with food - softening it
As expected, lots of spring flowers and new growth in many places
Trilliums etc
Wild ginger. bellwort, mayapple, marsh marigold at Fletcher (plus more)
Moccasin Flowers bloomed at the Mer Bleue Boardwalk, pitcher plant buds at Garry Fen( and lots more)
The Tulip Festival's blooms were very nice this year, what with the cool weather
Lots of nice birds at Mud Lake
(Warbler time, but I don't have the patience to catch them as photos)
